We woke up this morning to the news that Adam has topped out the route, considered to be the hardest big wall climb in the world.

Social media was on fire this morning, as climbers and commentators from around the world sent their congratulations to Adam.

Just heard that Adam Ondra (@adam.ondra)—the young, impressive world-champion sport climber from the Czech Republic—completed the second ascent of the Dawn Wall of El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. Bravo, Adam! I got the honor of seeing first hand just how difficult this rock climb truly is when I documented Tommy Caldwell (@tommycaldwell) and Kevin Jorgeson’s (@kjorgeson) historic first free ascent in January 2015. Tommy and Kevin pioneered the way, continuing on when they didn’t know if it was even possible. Now Ondra, with the understanding that the route was indeed possible, took his talent and skill and achieved in about a month what originally took Tommy and Kevin years. That’s called progression, folks, and that’s what makes the sport of climbing so exciting.

Tommy Caldwell, who first climbed the Dawn Wall with Kevin Jorgeson simply commented "Speechless" on his Instgram feed.

We are so stoked for Adam, and as always, we are proud to have him on the EpicTV team.
