First up we’re checking in with EpicTV star Daniel Woods who has been enjoying a pretty cool, and successful, trip to Peru. As well as winning the 2nd edition of the Masters of Bouldering Competition in Lima, the capital of Peru, he’s also established an 8B boulder problem at over 4300 metres above sea level. It’s called “Apu” (no giggling please) and follows a series of crimps up a 45 degree overhanging wall on one of the many boulders in the Hatun Machay area, a pre-Incan holy place. After Paul Robinson established 2 8A+ in Brazil in August and EpicTV followed him, Dave Graham, Jimmy Webb and Daniel Woods to Mexico in “Viva Penoles” earlier this year, is the bouldering scene about to explode in Latin America? http://instagram.com/p/tX8i0JMDDO/?modal=true Photo of the problem Next, we’ve got a new feature on the show where we ask top climbers for their top 3 training tips and today we’re talking to Australian boulderer James Kassay. These are going to be on the show every Tuesday so you can probably guess the name… www.Jameskassay.com Has Daniel Woods Just Climbed Highest Boulder Problem In The World? | EpicTV Climbing Daily, Ep. 354
