The race for the IFSC overall World Cup Boulder title has been blown wide open for both men and women following the Vail leg of the tour. For the second competition running, Japan's Akiyo Noguchi took the win, this time topping all 4 problems in the final. She was joined on the podium by Fanny Gibert of France and Austria's Anna Stohr, with Shauna down in 5th, and 16 year old prodigy Megan Mascaneras taking an amazing fourth place. Over in the men's event, Russia's Dmitri Sharafudtinov took the win ahead of the winner of the Toronto event, Guillaume Glairon-Mondet, who was second, while Sean McColl got third. Dmitri has now made it into 14 successive finals and looked dominant in this one, topping all 4 problems. He's won the World Championships 3 times before and now finds himself on 415 points overall, 22 behind Jan Hojer. The next event takes place in China between 20th and 22nd June so stay tuned for all the results right here on Climbing Daily.Noguchi and Sharafudtinov storm to big wins at IFSC Colorado | EpicTV Climbing Daily Ep. 292
