Last summer, my 4-year old daughter, Isabelle, and I set off on a sky camping adventure in Annecy, France. Taking off from Planfait with a paraglider, we soared up above the Dents de Lanfont to scope out a comfortable landing zone on a summit near La Tournette. After a smooth landing, we hiked up to find a cozy camping spot and setup for the night. An unusual summer storm came in overnight, forcing us to hike down for a safer take-off late the next morning. Thankfully, the clouds parted and the wind died down enough for us to glide off for a smooth flight and soft landing - marking the end of our first (of many) sky camping adventures together.
