Snowboarder Towed By A Plane | Jamie Barrow Sets New Snowboard Speed Record

On the 31st January 2015, near St.Moritz in Switzerland, Britain's fastest snowboarder Jamie Barrow reached a speed of 125Kph while being towed by an aircraft. Jamie was inspired by old black and white photos of skiers being taxied by an aircraft slowly around St.Mortiz lake over 100 years ago. Jamie is only 22 and was forced to quit the Team GB Boardercross team due to a bad back injury. Ever since, Jamie has set his sights on British and Guinness World records for speed on a snowboard. Not only is he the fastest snowboarder in the UK (151.6kph), he also holds the Guinness World indoor snowboard speed record and has set the snowboard speed record for being powered by electric jet engines!
