Filmmaker Matt Triplow shot surf’s magic hour over a beautiful sunset at Del Mar in San Diego, California. Like all good things, Matt’s shoot happened by accident. His first time filming the ocean, he initially wanted to catch the amazing sundown on the horizon. But as he set up his Phantom 2 with Zenmuse H3-3D and GoPro 3+ Black edition, with the Snake River prototyping BlurFix Air ND4/CP filter, the local surfers quickly caught his attention. Matt was captivated by the surfers and the spray coming off the waves as his camera picked up the liquid gold of the sun reflecting on the ocean.
