Adam Ondra Onsights 8C and 9A Routes In Austria Like a Beast | EpicTV Climbing Daily, Ep. 244

He's been off the scene lately but it seems that Adam Ondra hasn't lost his touch. He's recently been out climbing at Adlitzgraben, Austria, and he onsighted "Selbst ist das Kind" (8c) and also made short work of "Napalm in the Morning", Berni Fiedlernsome's 9a. According to rock climbing website 8a.nu's ranking system, this is Adam's 46th onsight of 8c or harder and his 90th 9a. The people second to Adam for 9a's climbed and "8c or harders" onsight have done less than a third of the routes he has. We've been in touch with Adam recently and he said that he's concentrating on training for the upcoming competition season and working hard at his studies. Whatever he's doing, it doesn't seem to be doing his climbing any harm right now.
