‘Tom et Je Ris’ (8b+/5.14a) is a beautiful endurance climb situated high on the walls of France’s Verdon Gorge. This spectacular setting is one of Europe's best multi-pitch climbing areas - fitting given than Daila Ojeda is one of Europe's best climbers. Verdon's heyday was in the 80's but it has recently experienced a bit of a resurgence and there are plenty of die-hards who never truly left, coming back year after year to challenge themselves on the gorge’s beautiful, relentless lines. Daila has recently moved to Italy but this summer she took several trips to France in order to work this classic route. ‘Tom et Je Ris’ didn't fall easily, but as you can see, it was worth it when it did.
