In this episode of Proyecto Sofia, ex world champion Sofia Mulanovich is traveling around her home country of Peru putting youngsters through their paces and winnowing down a crowd of 67 contenders to the final 10 lucky surfers who will get to be part of her surf academy. The Proyecto is a three-year program that combines top-level, competitive surf training with life lessons anchored in the key areas of environmental protection, healthy living, and fair play.
