It’s no secret the women of Jackson Hole rip. But you might not have known exactly how high the levels of backcountry skiing are in the legendary American resort. The Pretty Faces and Unicorn Picnic teams, in Partnership with Skiing magazine, decided to hold a video contest to celebrate girls everywhere. After looking at a ton of worthy entries, they pinned the blue ribbon on this banger from filmmaker and skier Lynsey Dyer featuring the incredible freeriding of Crystal Wright, Jess McMillan, Hadley Hammer, Kim Havell, and Sash Dingle on classic lines like Corbet’s Couloir, S&S, and Cody Peak. "Our intention," Lynsey told Skiing magazine, "is to give a platform to girls and women, to showcase what they are capable of on skis in their own stomping grounds." With incredible pow, buttery pillow lines, very critical couloirs and the biggest air ever taken in Jackson Hole by a female, Lynsey and her crew are doing an amazing job.
