Longboarders Descend on the Legendary Hills of Tenerife | Greener Pastures Offshore, Ep. 2

A crew of professional longboarders have come to Tenerife to ride the island's legendary roads and no paved surface is safe. In this episode, the boys meet some of the 'peña', that is, the local riders who show them around the island and take them to some of the choicest hills. In fact, Tenerife is little but hills and two lane roads. As you can imagine the crew has a ball racing down hills like a feral pack of asphalt animals. Although some want to dance (step back and forth on their boards) the order of the day is big, powerful slides to burn off speed as they come around hairpin turns. There's finally a chance to get fancy at 4:55 on a section of closed road that the 'peña' takes over for an impromptu session. These kids really know how to make the most of an afternoon.
