On August 29th Robbie Philips and Willis Morris made the 4th ascent of the Eiger's toughest multi-pitch route, 'Paciencia', 8a/5.13b, a line first climbed by Ueli Steck and Stephan Siegrist. It was the culmination of an epic summer road trip for Robbie, and we managed to catch up with the strong Scotsman for a chat about the many routes he has topped out in the past couple of months. From 'Project Fear' (8c/5.14b) in the Italian Dolomites to 'Silbigier' (8b+/5.14a) in Switzerland, Robbie has made light work of what for many people would be lifelong projects.
