Beal's rope range for the coming year features three distinct categories of rope; the Active Range, the Intensive Range and the Mountain range. The active range have been designed for indoor and pure rock climbers with shock absorbing technology to help reduce impact during falls. This range spans the width range from 9.5 to 10.2mm and also includes half ropes. The Intensive range is, as the name suggests for more intensive use, so those climbing outside more often in harsher conditions. Every rope in this range features Beal's water and dust resistant sheath treatment and is made using the Unicore process which binds the rope's core to its sheath. Lastly is the Mountain Range, which features both Beal's standard sheath treatment and an extra dry treatment to help the ropes stand up to the harsh, often wet conditions of the high mountains. This range is very much focused towards ice and alpine climbers. The full range of Beal ropes is already available and prices vary depending on the rope.
