Made in collaboration with the Huber brothers, the new Quantum is based around the design of an older Five Ten shoe of the same name that was a particular favourite of the German duo. The biggest update to this model was to make the last slightly wider giving a flatter and overall more comfortable shape to the shoe. In addition, the toe box has been brought to more of a point and a stiff midsole ensures great performance on edges as the shoe can easily maintain its shape when put under pressure. The shoe's slight downturn will help on steeper routes without hampering the user on face climbs or slabs. Comfort is a key feature of the Quantum with a soft, synthetic upper and a perforated tongue which ensures good breathability on longer routes or in hot conditions. The final big plus point for the Quantum is the speed lacing which allows you to easily adjust the shoe on the wall or in-between climbs.
