In his directorial debut Portuguese hellman and world traveler Nic von Rupp has gathered clips from some of the sickest freesurfing sessions he has logged around the globe this year. Follow Nic on his journey as he surfs some of the world's gnarliest waves with the world's gnarliest surfers. First stop: Hawaii. Nic showed up on the islands late in the season with a quiver of Semente Surfboards, his trusty Hurley Phantom board shorts, and filmer Gustavo Imigrante.
