Vlog 030 - Not Just A pretty Face

Finally! Some real climbing caught on camera. The big blank wall to the right of "Eye of the beholder" turned out to have just enough holds on it, and after Mike was kind enough to give me a belay, Caro got there on a rope and even managed to keep the camera horizontal! It's an amazing route, that kicks in just off the floor, and never really lets off. Tricky boulder after tricky boulder, though often split by good rests lead to a final run-out endurance section way up there at the top of the wall. Some incredible and unlikely moves and holds lead you all the way to a heart in mouth finish way up at the top of the wall. "Not Just A Pretty Face" might be the best new route I climbed on this trip. It felt similar, in overall difficulty to "Eye Of The Beholder" with easier crux, but far more sustained.
