On today's Gear Show we try to answer a question we get asked all of the time 'What size of climbing shoe should I buy'. The answer is not simple. Dark art is an understatement! The past two years i was using Muira VS two EU sizes below my street shoe (Men's 48) Muira VS in 46. I had trouble with the achilles and changed to a 45.5 and they fit amazingly. The only problem is I bought a new pair in June and the toe ripped off after my 15th or 16th climb, and Sportiva just said "tough luck". I am ordering a pair of the Instinct VSR and I'll take your advice on sizing, Matt - thanks!
