The Epic TV series '82 The Alps' is about the passion of being in the beautiful European Alps and climbing all of its 82 4,000-meter-peaks. It's not about being the fastest or being the first, it's all about enjoying the challenge and the stunning beauty of this landscape and to share it with friends. It's simply about following your dreams. Mountaineer and extreme-skier Tormod Granheim wants to climb all 82 four-thousanders in the Alps. The series shows a man beeing back in the mountains after his last big adventure - skiing down the north face of Mount Everest and in the course of this loosing his best friend Tomas Olsson. In his next adventure Tormod has to face multiple kinds of challenges, including fast-turning weather conditions and naturally the overwhelming power of the 82 alpine peaks. 82 completely unique stone giants who want to be climbed. With his wish to climb all of these great mountains, Tormod could become the first Norwegian to successfully reach all 82 4,000-meter-peaks in the Alps. But will he be able to make it?
