First up we’ve got a pretty gripping little video showing Jacopo Larcher making the third ascent of Beat Kammerlander’s route Prinzip Hoffnung in Austria. Beat originally did the route as a sport route but in 2009, aged 50 (!), he pulled the bolts out and led it on trad gear, making it one of the hardest routes of it’s type in the World, with the grade weighing in at a hefty 8b+, or E9/10 in British trad terms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIK5cVHihns http://jacopo-larcher.com/ Next, we’re off to Patagonia and a really nice short film made by some friends who waited out 5 weeks of bad weather and then in a 10 day dash, climbed both Fitzroy and Cerro Torre. Not a bad climbing trip! https://vimeo.com/87395294 Jacabo Larcher Makes 3rd Ascent of Prinzip Hoffnung, AUT 8b+/E9-10 | EpicTV Climbing Daily, Ep. 255
