Big walls mean big balls right? Well kind of in a roundabout way. But anyway, its the Monday before Christmas and we have decided to show you the 3 best big wall climbs of 2013, so sit back relax, nibble on a carrot or protein shake and feast your eyes on this lot...
3. 12 year old makes a jugless ascent of El Capitan. Yosemite climber Jim Herson has taken his daughter up El Capitan but wouldn't let her take jumars so she had to climb the whole thing "properly".
2. First ascent of the S Pillar of Kyzgyl Asker in China by Nico Favresse, Sean Villanueva, Stephane Hanssens and Evrard Wendenbaum. The route is 1200m long, took 15 days, and temperatures dropped to -15. A sufferfest!
3. Polish alpinists Marek Raganowicz and Marcin Tomaszewski have put up a new route on The Great Trango Tower in Pakistan. This is one of the big walls in the world, and they have called their new route, Bushido.
