The nominations have been made for the 2013 National Geographic's Adventurer of the year award. Canadian climbers Raphael Slawinski and Ian Welsted have been nominated for this award, along with Adam Ondra and mountain runner Kilian Jornet. All in all that makes it a pretty good year for climbers being recognised for the award, as there are only 10 nominees, and 3 are climbers. Mountain athletes get another tick too, as skier JP Auclair is also nominated. Charlie takes you through who, how, what and where of the climbing nominees in this video.
