After a long season, the overall winners of the IFSC Leading Climbing World Cup have been crowned after the final event of the season in Kranj, Slovenia.
Although neither of them won in Kranj, Korea's Jain Kim and Japan's Sachi Amma finished high enough to claim the overall win for the season. Kim won four World Cup Climbing events this year and finished second in 2 more, and now claims her first title having been runner up for the past 2 years. Meanwhile in the men's event, Sachi Amma retained the title he won in 2012. Also worth noting is the performance of Sean McColl, who finished 5th overall despite also competing in the Boulder World Cup this season and finishing 3rd in that. The best all round competition climber in the World?

In the Kranj event itself, Jakob Schubert won the men's competition, which was enough to give him second place for the season overall, and Momoka Oda won the Women's event.
