The new and improved DMM Dragon cams offer an amazing upgrade to a classic camming device. The cam has dual axels and now have wider lobes giving the Dragon’s a larger surface area and more contact with the rock. The anodizing on the surface of the lobes has been removed leaving raw aluminum. This gives the cam a higher level of friction, improving the grip. Special grooves have been machined into the lobes ensuring more sharp edges are in contact with the rock. They still retain some of the original features, including the extendable slings meaning you don’t need to carry as many quickdraws up a route.
