Green Race is the most extreme kayak race in world, where some of the fastest, and most talented athletes gather to race down some of the most technical and steep whitewater in the world. It is almost November, which means Green Race, "the greatest show in all of sports", is about to arrive... Held just outside of Asheville, NC, The Green Race course drops 342 feet per mile in just HALF A MILE! While training, there is no room for mistakes as you paddle as fast as possible down steep and dangerous class V rapids, with little time to breathe. Follow some of the kayaking athletes down the course as they train for the upcoming race, hear what Mac McGee has to say after racing for the past 7 years, and watch some carnage on the infamous Gorilla Rapid. The search for “flow” is something we are always looking for, whether is on the water, at work or home. While searching for flow, we all realize that flow is everlasting, continuous, and relentless. From whitewater we are able to learn so much that we can apply in and outside of paddling. Through the dynamic experience that whitewater has to offer, Everlasting Flow will highlight some of the toughest whitewater and remote locations that the southeastern United States can provide and that only a few are privileged to experience or even witness.
