Antti Rissanen usually spends his winters traveling to bike parks that host MTBers. But this winter he decided to try something different. He wanted to ride some snow jumps. Problem was, Helsinki wasn't snowbound. So He broke out the fat tires and headed on a scandinavian adventure to Ylläs, a ski resort in the far north of the country. The temperature was freezing and the snow was hard, but he built himself an enormous quarterpipe and sessioned it until he fell so hard he knocked himself out. You can't watch this crazy, sub-zero session without being inspired to get out an ride, no matter what the weather. Snowbiking in Lapland Is Awesome until You Fall | Project SISU, Ep. 3

Project SISU gives you an inside look into the world of the young freestyle mountainbike rider Antti Rissanen. Sisu is a Finnish word which basically means strength, perseverance and resilience. These are really the qualities that Antti needs as he has been injured twice in two consecutive seasons which have ruined his contest seasons completely. Looking forward to the next season is something that keeps Antti pushing himself a bit further, whether on the bike or not. SISU will show you that the life of a competing freestyle athlete is not just an awesome ride but can also be extremely mentally, physically and emotionally challenging and one which requires sacrifices and compromises.
