Sofia Mulanovich, the first South American World Surfing Champion, has a launched her high performance surf academy in Peru - Proyecto Sofia Mulanovich. The academy, possibly the first of its kind in the world, provides the 10 members full surfing scholarships and all the tools necessary to help develop them into pro surfers. Along the way the academy will also provide the kids valuable life lessons so they grow and mature into better people and role models in their communities. The Proyecto is open to all Peruvians no matter their social background.
