Cairo is a city of madness. Its beauty runs deep, its poverty rampant, its sun is the most golden. But It is a city in turmoil since the 2011 revolution to oust then president Hosni Mubarak. The following years with Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood did not deliver in either economic terms or security. He’s now gone too. With a new confidence, the youth of Cairo will not tolerate inadequate leadership or infringements of their rights. They want to be free. Parkour is a way of expressing freedom. It is spreading throughout the city rapidly and It gives them discipline and self respect.
