Marcelo Gutierrez pulled off a history-making 3rd place result in Fort William last weekend on one of the toughest tracks in the 2015 UCI Downhill World Cup. It marked his first podium in a World Cup event and the first time a Colombian has ever stood on a podium in the history of DH World Cup mountain biking. Conditions during the whole event were atrocious as bad weather battered the course and made the wooded sections of the track incredibly difficult to ride. In any course that has been chewed up by the weather it takes composed, consistent runs to get up on the podium and Marcelo did just that. Check out the incredible speed and control on this practice run leading up to his third place finish.
