Glencoe is a valley in the western Scottish Highlands that is generally regarded as having one of the more ruggedly beautiful landscapes in the UK. The problem with all this beauty, and also much of the reason for it, is that there aren't many roads for people to drive around and take it all in. There are plenty of hiking paths but even those feel limited in such big country. Luckily for us, two Frenchman a Russian and an Englishman have finally found a way to take it all in.
Enter the paramotor, an ingenious kludge of a paragliding chute and a ceiling fan with shoulder straps. The contraption, which resembles something out of Da Vinci's sketchbook, lets pilots buzz around in the heavens and experience the Highlands the way they were meant to be experienced, from 12,000 feet overhead. Remember, kids: don't drink and fly, no matter how good the whisky is.
