Pat Kingsbury gets shoulder deep to throw a tenuous arm-bar in one of Moab's many off-width routes. To those unpractised in the art of off-width climbing, it can often look as though climbers are simply throwing in any part of their body that fits. To a degree that's true, but the brutality of the techniques can often distract from the immense craft that this form of climbing requires.
