'Evilution Direct' (V11/8A) in the California Buttermilks sees a lot of action. An incredible line up one of the most impressive faces in the area, it also carries the much sought after grade of 8A. It can be climbed to the lip at V10/7C+ and many climbers choose to leave it there given that topping it out adds more than a little extra spice. In this video, Alex Biale pushes on over the lip, but feeling a little uncomfortable with the tiny holds he finds up there makes the decision to bail.
